Prakash Ambedkar, president of Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi, requested the Maharashtra government offer the Muslim community of the state 5% reservation in a news conference held in Marathi journalist Singh on Wednesday.
Maharashtra government should promptly put the High Court’s verdict on Muslim reservation into effect. Prakash Ambedkar further mentioned that the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) bill would be introduced in the assembly on July 5.
He claimed that since the country’s independence, many people have been killed in little and large riots caused by people throwing meat in mosques and temples, inciting people, and making angry shouts. However, the general public is aware of these techniques. In such a setting, bombings and mob lynching have become viable options.
This conspiracy resulted in the communal riots in Muzaffarpur. He stated that the situation in the country remains the same as before. Religious attitudes among Muslims and people of other faiths will be inflamed in such a situation.
Attempts and conspiracies to denigrate the Gods and religious leaders of other religions, including the Quran and Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), will now be made by some anti-social groups.
As a result, society will be conducive to communal rioting. According to him, the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) bill will be introduced in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly on July 5 by Kapil Patil, in light of the current scenario. If passed, the state’s communal tensions will be managed.
The Maharashtra government has not followed the High Court’s judgment to provide Muslims a 5% reservation in education and employment, according to Alhaj Saeed Noori Sahab, chairman of Raza Academy. During the monsoon session, the government should introduce legislation on the subject.
He claimed that if the Prophet Muhammad bill becomes legislation, people will consider 100 times before making offensive remarks about any religion. Maharashtra would experience peace and tranquillity as a result of this law. Maharashtra will be the first state in the country to implement such a law, he claimed, provided the bill is passed.
On the other hand, Maulana Syed Moin Mian Sahab said that Muslims are ready to sacrifice their lives for Tahafuz-e-Namus-e-Risalat. Muslim can tolerate everything but not insult to Islam and Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). He urged all the legislators to support the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) bill.
